Fierce

I did not manage to get a good shot of the waves, but they were something today. Strong and LOUD. Missed yesterday, which was pretty with shades of blue and green running through the water. Sigh. Things will lighten up soon, I hope, both on the water and in life.

Thick

Heavy and Strong

It was stormy and cold yesterday. One of the interesting things about heavy wind is watching the birds. The seagull (black speck) in sky was stationary for the 60 seconds or so that I was taking pictures. When I take the time to notice, I often see them flying against the wind, sort of a seagull treadmill that keeps them in the same spot until they decide to move out of the current. When they turn around, they quickly and effortlessly float along with the wind, and travel far in a matter of moments.

Layers

At first glance, this is a simple pic, but then you notice that amazing cloud up top, the blue stripe on the horizon, and the pretty green water. From Friday, April 30. Missed Thursday. Things are just crazy lately.
