Spectacular Sky

That's a rainstorm off on the horizon, with reflected sun peeking out from behind.

More Misery

High winds, endless rain (sometimes frozen), winter goes on and on (I forgot to mention that it SNOWED yesterday. It melted by noon, but still).

Photogenic

This Lake simply cannot take a bad picture.
This is at 4pm after a clearing rain. It has been beautiful all day long, first menacing, then roiling, and now clearing. Wish I had taken pics of each stage.

Aftermath

Wednesday night there was a huge thunderstorm, and then the Pike Creek dumped its overflow into the Lake. You can see the brown stripe from the muddy water in these pictures....

Plus they are pretty. Thursday, May 14.

Muddy Waters

Lat Tuesday, after the excessive rain, the Pike Creek discharged gallons and gallons of muddy water into the Lake, making the Lake brown and making this picture.

A week ago...rain.

'Twas a dark and stormy morn

The clouds were low, the sun was veiled, it was very gloomy at 9am today.

Can you imagine a duller picture? You can!
It is rainy and grey, gray, and GREY! today. Lucky me, in the office to enjoy it on a Saturday.

But hey, here are some Canada geese from yesterday afternoon, since you were nice enough to visit.

In a Fog

You know how sometimes, you wake up in the morning and you had a rough night and don't feel right and things just seem kind of fuzzy? That's how the Lake felt this morning. But, too bad for the Lake, it cannot get a cup of strong coffee to make everything right. It's a gray and hazy day out there, warm, but rainy. Buck up, Lake, it will get better!
