In Like a Lion?

Fall came roaring into town last night, with big gusts of wind, cooler temperatures, and big waves.

These photos were all so surreally beautiful I couldn't decide. And I don't have to. So here was the view this morning about 10am from the porch on the side of the building.

Mirror Image

So, that problem with the heat in my office? SOLVED! by affixing a mirrored plastic film to the windows. With this, we were assured, we will be saving energy and making our offices much more pleasant. If you like mirrors, it is much more pleasant. If you are trying to photograph the Lake, not so much.

So, no more photos from inside my office. Not a hardship, but this perspective with the tree is out.

It is indeed a lot cooler. It is also a LOT darker. I am considering getting some very large speakers and playing music with a loud and heavy bass line, to go with the tinted windows.

Telepathy FAIL

So, I've been taking pics of the Lake (with my mind) and posting them to the website (again with the brainwaves) but it appears not to have worked. So sorry. Things have been very beautiful on the Lake.

Unfortunately, my office is usually around 90 degrees because of the concentrated heat of the sun and a very poorly designed building. Thus I have been avoiding it. Also, I am lazy. I could walk to the Lake near my house and take a picture each day, but I do not. Sorry to disappoint anyone who checks this site on occasion.

I hope to post some more soon.
