Cloud bank

Slightly less ominous than yesterday (though I haven't looked at the Dow this afternoon), this photo showcases the lovely cloud formations often seen above the Lake. Best "bank" news of the day!

This was taken this morning, the first non-blue variation of the fall. Did the Lake know about the coming recession/depression?

More sparkles

Late in posting this shot, which is from this morning when the sun was shining brightly on the lake. The window from which this was taken is terribly dirty, so apologies for flaws in this otherwise lovely view.

Here's some variation: not so much blue as gray, with haze allowing a few rays of sunshine to sparkle on the water.

venturing out

Today is a perfect early Autumn day, mild and sunny. I took these from right outside my office building, proof that I do not work from a lakeshore cabin. The bird in the first shot was a bonus, so I'm including two today.

Ho Hum

Still blue and fairly calm, but that's a nice sky right there. I did get some beautiful sunrise pics this morning, but on the other camera. Maybe this weekend I can unlock its secret stash of Great Lakes photos and start to share them...

Busy day, just got into the office to take a pic. I thought maybe the afternoon light would look a lot different, but it doesn't. One of these days we're going to have some variation, I promise.
