Undulations
Once again, my inadequate camera, plus lack of facility with video or audio, make it impossible to capture the amazing combination of ice and motion on the lake this afternoon. The surface is covered with ice chunks to about 30 feet from shore, but they are coming closer in with each gigantic wave. The waves are big and LOUD (due to the ice chunks). And the surface of the water rocks back and forth before breaking near the shore.
And then in the little covelet nearest my vantage point, it is still and full of roundish discs of ice. And it's snowing. So the interesting formations should continue into tomorrow.
