Deep, Deep Blue

There was no post yesterday because I was out working to ensure our democracy. And now, for the first time in my voting lifetime, all the states surrounding Lake Michigan are blue. Indiana, that last Great Lakes hold out, a place where I have lived and voted in the past, actually selected a Democrat for President. So now, every single Great Lakes state, even every state that can see a Great Lake from their front porch (ha!) is firmly in the column of the Democrats. Obviously, I see this as a good thing. Other readers may not, but that's why this is my blog. Time t o breathe in the calm blue reality....

Thank you for the beautiful pictures of the Lake. Yesterday eve was enjoyable. Thank you for all your hard work. I am wildly happy with the results. The one exception is Ryan will continue to be the First Dist. Rep. Two more years of his incompetence is almost to much to bear. Two books you might be interested in "Blackwater" by Jeremy Scahill about the mercenaries which wil be an on going problem. And "Lawless World" by Philippe Sands, an International Lawyer from Britian who has been involved with the abuse by this Administration of International Law or simply put War Crimes. It will be interesting to see how Obama handles these problems. You have to order these from Barnes. Thanks again for all your hard work.
