Sailing, Flying

Signs of spring: geese and a sailboat.

Blue, teal

Friday's bright color.

Though thou the waters warp...

In honor of Shakespeare's birthday:Blow, blow, thou winter wind,
Thou art not so unkind
As man's ingratitude;
Thy tooth is not so keen,
Because thou art not seen,
Although thy breath be rude.
Heigh-ho! sing heigh-ho!
unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning,
most loving mere folly:
Then, heigh-ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.

Freeze, freeze, thou bitter sky,
That dost not bite so nigh
As benefits forgot:
Though thou the waters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
As friend remember'd not.
Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho!

Cottony soft

An Invitation to Swim

LakeMichiblog hopes to be the first blog to officially invite Bo Obama, the new First Dog, to swim in Lake Michigan. He is, after all, a WATER DOG. And his home in Chicago is only a few blocks from the beach.

No Foolin'

Can't think of any way to tie this photo to April Fool's day, so I won't try.
